Competitive J24 Boathandling
The first installment Competitive J24 Boathandling focuses on the International J/24, long considered one of the technically challenging classes to master in competitive sailing. The J/24 is raced by five-person teams in fleets across five continents. Its world champions are the leaders in every current venue of competitive sailing.
This video CD-ROM covers in detail the essential techniques used in tacking the boat and incorporating windward sheeting, setting the spinnaker with preparation for the first tactical move, gibing with full use of crew kinetics, dousing the spinnaker under control, and the organization and job distribution necessary for consistent starts.
Chapters include: Tacking, Gybing, Sets, Douses and Starts
Additional specific footage is available through the CD-ROM's web-portal to be streamed and updated online.
